Free / public RPC URLs
Public RPC URLs for Mantle
These endpoints are free, anonymous, and rate limited. They are useful for development, wallet reads, and one off scripts. For production traffic or indexer workloads, pair them with a paid provider so the public list becomes your fallback rather than your primary.

When the answer is real
Caveats and things to verify
- Mantle uses MNT (not ETH) for gas. Wallet UX defaults that assume ETH gas will be wrong on Mantle.
- Mantle uses EigenDA for data availability rather than calldata to Ethereum, which is why it can keep fees low.
FAQ
Frequently asked questions
What is the native gas token on Mantle?
MNT. Mantle uses its own ERC 20 style token for gas, not ETH. Make sure your wallet shows MNT and your dapp accounts for it when estimating fees.
