  • Polygon zkEVM is a different chain from Polygon PoS — do not paste chain ID 137 if you mean zkEVM (1101).
  • Polygon zkEVM is in the process of migrating to the AggLayer CDK chain architecture.

Is Polygon zkEVM the same as Polygon PoS?

No. Polygon PoS is chain ID 137, native POL, a sidechain. Polygon zkEVM is chain ID 1101, native ETH, a zk rollup that posts proofs to Ethereum. Different chain ID, different bridge, different gas token.
